Removing a disused line

Hi,

I’ve recently bought a house that has two lines coming from the telegraph pole into the house.

One was connected to the master socket, which we’ve just had moved by Openreach’s sub-contractors.

The other line goes into a different part of the house, into a room that was used as an office. I assume it’s a second line the previous owner used for his business.

I know the master socket belongs to BT. Am I right in thinking the second line does too?

I’d like to remove it but I assume it’s not our property.

The sockets and lines belong to Openreach, not BT.
