Digital and Analog voice together.

Hi all, I have just upgraded to Full Fibre and have a Smart Hub 2. I also got a digi phone with the package. At the moment I have connected my 'old' analog phone system (BT 8610 - 3 phones) to the 'analog' port on the router. I have read that to use the digi phone I need to register it with the router. If I do this will I have both Digi and Analog phones working simultaneously, or, will registering of the digi phone render the router analog input (and phones) inoperable?

If they work simultaneously then I will have 4 phones (1 digi, 3 analog). I like the facilities of the 8610 so don't want to lose that (I can live without a 4th phone) but it seems a waste to have a nice new digi phone sat in its box in a cupboard.

Thanks for reading

Sb

Yes, you can use both together. The analogue port on the hub is just an ATA to convert the analogue phone to Digital Voice.
