I am currently on analogue voice, and have the following setup:

(1) Downstairs, DECT Phone connects to Lifeline VI+ Telecare system which connects to master socket.
(2) Fire alarm wirelessly connects to Lifeline VI+ Telecare system
(3) Upstairs is a secondary phone socket. A corded phone (that doesn't require electrical mains power) is connected to the socket. The wireless router is also connected to the socket.
(4) An RJ45 network cables connects the router to Desktop PC.

What is the simplest, cheapest way of making sure all this stuff keeps working after digital switchover? Main issues:
(a) will an Analogue to Digital Voice Adapter to go between the telecare system and the master socket be sufficient? Or is it better to move the router downstairs and plug the telecare system into the new router?
(b) The secondary phone socket will stop working, right? So the (upstairs) router and corded phone will stop working anyway? Or can I still use it somehow?
(c) Can a corded phone that doesn't have mains electricity operate by being plugged into the router? Or does it also require an Analogue to Digital Voice Adapter?
