      <title>Can receive calls but unable to make calls due to engaged tone</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My elderly parents have recently been upgraded to DV&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They have the converter &amp;amp; have been using their old phones with no issues for the last weeks.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now though they can't make calls due to an engaged tone.&lt;BR /&gt;Tried dialling 1571 as suggested elsewhere, but it doesn't dial&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Rebooted the hub, the converter, the phone but no joy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the end, I've taken them my&amp;nbsp;Advanced Digital Home Phone &amp;amp; set that up.&lt;BR /&gt;That works fine &amp;amp; can make and receive calls&lt;BR /&gt;The old phone still has an engaged tone.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any ideas on how to fix it?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
