telephone was taken down along with my 2 copper cables phone worked fine and broadband broadband drops out often download from 20mps to 6 mps unplugged/plugged phone no joy same with old binetone phone no dial tone

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

As your phone is not working, you need to report it as a phone fault. A faulty phone line will also affect broadband speed.

ok reported they say 5 days to fix great cant get hold of doctor hope i last till then

Which is where a mobile phone is useful.

Its quite possible for a phone to be unavailable for weeks, especially if its major fault on the external network, like a damaged pole. It can take Openreach many weeks to fix that.

everyone else,s phone b/band ok just mine seems they replaced my 2 copper wires with one black cable connected to th elast 2 copper wires into house thanks for quick reply mobile phone is not the best but will rely on that for now cheers
