Can my BT46000's Call Guardian still work if I get an additional digital phone?

Yes, but you will get a short ring from the digital phone before the BT4600 Call Guardian answers the phone.

Thanks for the swift reply!!! That sounds hopeful but prompts the following questions question :-

Do I need to do any of the changing to ring timings on the digital phone I've seen discussed in the Community for the 8500?

And would doing this avoid any rings on the digital phone before the Call Guardian cut in?

Sorry to pester but I am a bit of a technophobe.
