Phone Rings Once Then Beeps

Ever since we switched to fibre broadband our phones only ring once then beep when a ring should be heard.

We use our original Gigaset phones rather than BT ones. We switched to Digital Voice a couple of months before the full fibre and did not have this problem during that time, only when the fibre was installed.

Strangely it rings properly if I call the landline from my mobile within the house but reverts to the beeps if the call is from other incoming calls.

I've installed a filter but it doesn't help. Anybody else with same problem and any ideas how to rectify?
