Digital Voice phone failing to fully bootup, keeps retrying

Hi,

as per title Digital Voice phone starts booting up, see the "BT" in the circle and the tune, but then after about a second it reboots/restarts and goes into an endless loop of this.. have tried taking batteries out and leaving for half an hour, but no difference..

any help appreciated..

Sounds like a duff battery. If you don't have rechargeable replacements you can use a set of alkaline just to prove the point. Just don't put the phone on its charging base with them fitted, this is just to test if it starts up fully.

Possibly faulty batteries which have lost their capacity.

Not sure what size the batteries are, but you can try a quick test to prove whether its the phone or the batteries, by putting ordinary alkaline batteries in it. Do not attempt to charge it, but just see if the phone carries on re-booting. If it does, then the phone is faulty. If not, then its the rechargeable batteries that are no good.

Wow, you're right - had ruled that out as it was continuing to do stuff even though it was only rebooting.. Thanks 🐵
