New Fibre 900 install router question with SH2

Hello!

So had my install today and SH2 isnt reaching my upstairs properly.

My question mainly is..

If I buy a new router and plug the WAN into that can I then plug in the SH2 into that router to still get DV?

I'd have to use SH2 as main and then a bridge?
