Dect base units to smart hub 2

Hi,

Am I able to connect wirelessly my dect base unit to my smart hub to use digital voice? I know I can connect the dect handsets to the hub but not sure if I'm able to connect base to hub then use the handsets through the base unit?

No, you can't do that, DV does not use WiFi in any shape or form. Plug your base station into the green socket at the rear of the hub.

Doesn't anybody read the FAQ

Hi @davelympo welcome to the community and thanks for posting, a digital voice adapter can help you locate the telephone base station in a different place from your Hub, if that's what you're trying to do.

hi mate and thankyou for your reply, yes I was just trying to see if I could connect the base unit wireless to the sh2. I can connect each handset to the hub but I would prefer to go through the base.

@davelympo No problem, you'd need to use an adapter to do that. You can order one for free from bt.com/DVequipment, or TEXT the word ADAPTER to 61998.
