Phones connected via DV Adapters not ringing

I have one phone connected directly to my Smarthub 2 green socket and 2 other phones connected via DV Adapters. All of them can place calls OK, but only the phone directly connected to the Smarthub rings with an incoming call.

Am I missing something in the setup - or is this normal for phones connected via DV Adapters?

Try an old filter in the adapter to provide the ring wire

By old filter, do you mean the filters previously used when analogue phone was carried simultaneously with ADSL over the phone line?
