Transfer to FTTP

Hi All - Happy New Year

My property is being upgrade to Full Fibre 100, apparently my phone line will become digital.

Will I be able to use a Cisco 7821 phone ?

Not with BT's Digital Voice.

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

Only if you are using a third party VOIP provider.

BT Digital Voice only works with the BT Smart Hub 2 and a normal wired or DECT phone system. You cannot connect an IP phone.

I assume you are not a business user?

Then that phone is of no use unless it has a standard wired phone socket as well, which would plug into the phone socket on the back of the Smart Hub 2.

IP phones are used by BT Business, but not BT Residential.
