Does Smart Hub 2 work well with ADSL. I don’t have full fibre where we live and I need the Smart Hub2 to plug my phone into when Digital Voice happens next year. PS I’m not very technical so simple answers appreciated. Thanks

I still have copper , ADSL, broadband as the block I live in does not have full fibre Broadband. At the moment I use a BTHome Hub 4 and my understanding is that when the switch to Digital Voice happens , I’ll be sent a Smart 2hub to plug my landline into (I do use the landline). BUT my understanding also is that the Smart 2 hub is really geared to full fibre but I need something to plug my landline into and the Home Hub 4 does not have a phone port- only the Smart 2 does, but it may not he optimal for my Wi-Fi requirements if it is not ADSL compatible. I do need my landline for certain reasons. Anyone know of a “fix” whereby I can plug my phone into a router that is ADSL-I am not a techie by the way. 😉 thanks

The SH2 can be used with ADSL/FTTC/FTTP. if you move to DV then you must use the SH2 as the first connection to the internet and your WiFi connections should also work. I would change the SSID of the new SH2 to that of your existing hub and also change password to existing password then your existing WiFi devices should connect right away. Save you having to change each individual device
