Can I use phone port on SH2 and digital adapter at the same time

Helping my elderly parents get set up on DV. They have 2 phones and would like to continue using them.

One phone is located close to SH2 and second is in a bedroom. I was going to connect first phone directly to SH2 via green port and then use the DV Digital Adapter for the second in the bedroom.

My question is whether this would work? I have a suspicion that you cannot use the port AND wireless as connection points for DV, it’s one or the other. If that’s the case and they want to continue using their existing phones, then I’d need 2 adapters instead.

If anyone can confirm before I start spending money, that would be appreciated.

Yes you can use both at the same time, it's the way I have it set up too!

Think of the SH2 as being your new master socket and the DV plugs being the new extensions, it's just like that, only digital.

Yw, and if you are wanting to add other phones using this digital system, you can add up to a total of 5.

Just bear in mind that you cannot transfer calls between the two, as they are treated as two separate lines with the same number, but independent from each other.
