    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm writing in desperation after a series of errors disconnecting my vital phone line, despite promises to keep it active due to a family medical emergency.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;* Weeks ago, I requested ONLY broadband cancellation. My 78-year-old father recently suffered a heart attack, and this line is our only reliable contact method for nurses/emergency services.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;* BT mistakenly disconnected BOTH broadband and phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;* After frantic calls, an advisor named Adnan promised immediate reinstatement but failed to do so.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;* My father suffered ANOTHER heart attack. My 74-year-old mother couldn't call for help without our line.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;* We were forced to install a new digital line and get a different number.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please, can someone urgently reinstate our original number? &lt;P&gt;Welcome and thank you for your post!&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am sorry that your line and broadband were disconnected. &amp;nbsp;I understand your request was to only cancel the broadband element of your service. I appreciate how vitally important it is that the service is working for your Parents and I'm sorry to learn about what happened to your Dad recently. &amp;nbsp;I really hope he is ok.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I see you've mentioned that the service was reconnected on Digital Voice. &amp;nbsp;Do you have ability to make outgoing calls at present (albeit with a different number)? &amp;nbsp;We can pick up and see if it is possible to get your original number back.&lt;/P&gt;
