Digital voice change to small unfiltered socket?

I have a master socket that is then extended to a further "fat" master type filtered socket with phone and broadband ports which my hub is plugged into. Now I'm on digital voice could I just swap that "fat" port for a thin simple unfiltered rj11 plate?

Yes, filters are no longer required with DV
