BT 1200 HANDSET

Hi anybody have any idea how to reset Bt1200 handsets to factory settings.

I've bought phones from my dad's but unable to set up.

Any ideas welcomed

Can't see anything in the pdf instructions

from BT 1200 user guide

Reset the handset or base settings
1. Press , scroll to DEFAULT and press .
2. PIN?---- is displayed, enter the 4 digit PIN and
press .
3. CONFIRM? is displayed, press . You will hear a
confirmation tone.

I've tried that but I'm unsure if they have put a pin number in and think that maybe why it's saying call locked

Default PIN is usually 0000 but if it's been changed then I don't think it can be bypassed other that trial & error. PIN change instructions are on P.36 & should confirm if the default is still valid.

When/where are you seeing Call Locked? Are you sure it's not just the keypad locked?

Maybe call the helpline number 0800 218 2182.

I've tried default code thought there might be a way to bypass. Call locked is on main screen. I may have locked it with the pin as I've tried both handsets and now both are locked. This is why I'm presuming it's the code.

I'll try calling the helpline
