How to pick up call on the 2nd phone

Still getting familiar with Digital Voice. When call comes in and rings on both main phone and "bedroom" phone how do I transfer to other phone. Is it also possible to have joint conversation on 2 phones with caller?

You need to go to settings on the DV PHONE and then line I think and change the default multi to single and then you should be able to pick up call on another phone

Many thanks imjolly. I went through this sequence on the phone and it worked but still unsure how to jointly share a call. Will need to spend time to experiment.

I don't know if this thread is still being viewed, but, in case it is...

We have recently been switched to BT DV. We have 3 Panasonic hands-free handsets and I have just bought a brand new BT Converse 2200 phone which plugs into the back of our new hub.

None of these phones seem to have any feature to transfer calls. Help please!
