Re the new email. Do the ‘DEC’ phones attached to the modem offer the same facility. Is the display classed as digital on them?

however the link says ‘

I am presuming that it is saying only the phone supplied by BT. Mine are Gigaset Phone (3 handsets) where the base station is plugged into the modem

Call Protect is a network feature not a handset feature.

The link says

Using a handset supplied with the Digital Voice service - indicated on handsets by an HD logo
By logging into My BT
By dialling 1572 from any phone connected to the Call Protect service

You have just taken the first of 3 options as the only option to manage Call Protect
