Big Button 200

Hello

I have a BT Big Button 200 Corded Phone.

The green light on the 1571 button that usually flashes when messages are recieved(and stored) is permanently green now.

There is also no dial tone when I pick up the handset .

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

For the record, I have checked the user guide and there is no mention of this particular kind of issue.

Many thanks in advance for anyone who has some advice to offer.

have you recently changed broadband package and been changed over to digital voice? if on DV you need to connect phone to green socket on back of BT SH2

Many thanks for advice.

Unfortunately that's not the case with my dilema as I have not changed my package from landline to DV.

Apparently BT does not supply helpdesk info for this particular product(Big Button 200 Corded Phone).

So this forum is probably my last hope.

It could just be that the phone has reached the end of it's life but hope springs eternal.

Maybe you have a line fault. Do you have another phone to try or could you borrow one from a neighbour?
