I have just been transferred over from BT FTTC to EE full fibre, as part of the switch over I was advised to buy 3 home phone adaptor units. My home phone network consisted of a total of four phones, only two of which are near power sockets. The only phone near to a power socket apart from the now main phone, is a Diverse 3016. I set this up as per instruction and it seemed fine giving dial tone, but when there is an incoming call the system rings once then cuts out/off the caller. Does anyone have any idea of what I can do , apart from chuck the phone? I have ordered a BT431 cable as advised elsewhere on this forum to see if I can get the other two phones (not near a power socket) working.

The Diverse 3016 is an answer phone, but I have never used it in this mode, it has given good service as a extension.

Thanks , T

As you are now an EE customer, you need to post on the EE forum https://community.ee.co.uk/

EE are a separate company within the BT Group.
