I'm thinking of going away for a few days and I'm having someone stayed. But I do not want them to use my landline to make phone calls and answer any phone calls? So how do I stop them using the phone? The only way I can think of is unplug my landline and hide the phones. Is the any other way ?

You're happy to let someone stay in your house but don't even trust them not to use the phone when asked not to!!!!

Because I know this person may pass (with out realising they have done it) on my phone number to other people who I DON'T want them to have it.
