The other possibility is that multi-call is enabled, so the hub and adapters are treated as two separate incoming lines, so you may need to disable that, as the calls may be going to the hub socket first.

I have a Ansafone on my Gigaset phone. When the Open Reach engineer set up our new digital line he moved the master unit with the Ansafone and plugged the unit into the hub. I've tried moving the Ansafone back to where we want it and plugging it into DVA but the Ansafone will not work. Any ideas?

Have you registered the dva to the hub?

The Digital Voice adapter presents a two wire connection, and some phones need an extra "ring" wire.

Plugging a microfilter into the socket on the DV adapter, and plugging the phone into the phone socket on the microfilter, emulates the "ring" wire.

Thanks Keith. I have tried that successfully with an old phone. I didn't think that it would work with a modern unit but it's certainly worth a try.

Thanks again Keith. Solution was using an ADSL filter plugged into DVA.
