    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi thanks for&amp;nbsp; your reply, and yes the phone is directly connected to the hub in the telephone port, we don't use any answering service only pick up messages on answerphone..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;there is no problem recording, only it does not switch off. eventually the line makes horrible noise for a while to advise is still connected then eventually the line cuts off. so still have problem. can you help?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;the answerphone does not cut off when the caller has hung up! we have set to answer in 4 rings and this part works ok&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;is the phone connected direct to the BT SH2?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you using the phone answering service and if so have you turned of the DV 1571 answering service?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
