      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;i bought a new phone and it says you must use the cables provided it wasn't a bt phone&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;just wanted to know if the plugs and sockets on all bt cordless phone were the same so i could just replace old for new but using the same cables&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Plugs &amp;amp; sockets are the same but the wiring between them might not be. That's why you're advised to use the cable that came with the new phone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But it will either work or it won't, so just try it. BT phones gernerally display Line Cord Error if the cable is unplugged, faulty or incorrect. If it doesn't work you need to use the new cable.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
