A few months ago we upgraded my dad’s BT broadband to incl digital phone. While the phone receives incoming calls when you try to dial out is plays a tune and keep looping with a ‘synchronising to the hub’ message. No matter what we do we can’t resolve it. Any ideas as getting no joy trying to resolve. Thanks

@LeanneHo

Welcome to this user forum for BT Residential phone and broadband customers.

It could be that the batteries are no good, as it seems a common issue with this phone.

You can prove this by temporarily swapping the batteries to ordinary alkaline ones, but do not put it on the charger base.

If the phone works with alkaline batteries, then it proves the rechargeable ones are no good, and need replacing.

Try replacing the batteries as the cheap rechargeable batteries cause lots of similar problems
