As part of my 'potential' move from BT to EE tomorrow they are sending me a new phone handset. It was not mentioned when I spoke to their 'Guide' aka salesman! I currently have a multi set of BT4600 phones which work perfectly screening out loads of junk calls. This is plugged into a white double socket not into my hub.

My question please:

Will these still work after the change over? (the online instructions mention plugging the awaited new handset into the hub??)

I am in the 'cooling off period' and so far wishing I'd not bothered. Screening junk calls is a deal buster.

I know BT/EE are almost one & the same but their comms so far are poor.

Thank you for any thoughts/wise words you cn offer.

Are you sure the instructions said PLUG the phone into the hub rather than CONNECT it to the hub?

It sounds as though you are being moved to Digital Voice and the handset will be a DV handset that connects to the hub via DECT (cordless technology).

However, if this is the case, you can still connect your existing base station to the socket on the hub rather than your master socket.
