Phishing Attempt or Malware

Hi everybody,

Just received an email from "**********@btconnect.com" which contains the following text:

"REF/BT/01/07/22
An Important message was sent to you from BT
Download file & follow Verification Process
BT Admin"

It also contains a pdf file attachment "BT User" which I haven't opened for obvious reasons!

Has anybody else received a similar email or can throw any light on what it's all about?

@JaySKay that is almost certainly a scam. Please can you forward it as an attachment to phishing@bt.com and our security team will investigate?
