trees need pruning as branches are touching bT wires. It will cause problems if not cut back.

This has nothing to do with BT Retail. Its Openreach that maintain the external network and they will not do anything unless there is a fault.

If they are your properties trees I'd suspect them to say they are yours to maintain.

Hi @Miller-beck61 and welcome to our community.

If the trees are on your property it would be your responsibility to get them cut back but if they're not on your property and may cause a hazard you could try contacting Openreach at Contact Openreach .
