I need to find out whether a BT concrete covered inspection chamber in the ground can be relocated as is near to a wall that needs to be rebuilt. Please advise. Tony

Its nothing to do with BT, you need to contact Openreach.

What's the cost of resetting the chamber lid if I want to add dropped kerbs ?

Depends on what type of Joint Box it is. If it’s a JMF then it’ll need to be rebuilt as a JBF so it can support the weight of a car driving over it.

Got quote from openreach. Cost to rebuild the chamber £4500. Concrete chamber will needed to be rebuild even if only the lid level needs changing.

Up to you to contact openreach and decide if you are proceeding with the chamber rebuild
