Telegraph pole

So a telegraph pole has been replaced outside of my drive, which is now a 50cm over my drive and over my dropped kerb. Why.

Are you sure it was a pole for openreach use? Where I live in Devon we have other Fibre suppliers putting up poles all over the place.

Yes definitely open reach. They have replied with a letter admitting that they have moved the pole by 50cm over my drive way further than before. Also ( in short ) stated they can do what they want on highway land, so I can either pay for the pole to be moved or take legal action.
