Green bt cabinet making lots of noise normal?

I have a green bt cabinet outside my house and it sounds like a steam train please see Loud bt cabinet

is this normal? Or anything to worry about?

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

The cabinet belongs to Openreach and not BT Retail.

There are cooling fans inside which make some noise, but it should not be very loud unless one of the fans are faulty.

You could raise the issue with Openreach.
