Can't resist sharing a letter from today's Daily Telegraph :

SIR - Our new BT phone system has a
useful feature that means when we get
a dodgy call, it is flagged as “nuisance”,
so we can ignore it.
On Wednesday we had five calls
from the same number, each time
flagged as “nuisance”. Eventually, out
of curiosity, I answered. It was BT.

I switched to Plusnet and within hours and then in the following days, I kept getting multiple calls from the same number which after research, appeared to be a number used by BT retentions. I never answered them because I'm on silent unkown callers and not once did they leave a message, just ghost calls with seemingly no intention whatsoever of leaving any form of message. I'm fairly positive that they have my email address. They could have emailed me, but they couldn't even be bothered to do that. I had no option but to block the nusiance number concerned.
