When my contract is up I'm seriously considering Sky broadband. They say no annual mid contract rise and if they do rise the price your free to leave with 30 days notice.

Wish Ofcom would impose a blanket ban on mid contract rises with what you pay on the last day being the same as the first. With the understanding that any rises means you're free to leave.

Interesting that EETV fixed price increase for monthly packs is not mentioned in the article. So does it change or remain the same for contracts after tomorrow ?

Looking at the newly issued Bt Consumer Price Guide today-

Annual Price Changes from 31st July 2025

If you signed up to a new contract for the following between 10th April 2024 and 30th July 2025:
• BT Landline (including call charges, features, add-ons and plans);
• The monthly plan price for Broadband (except Fixed Price Broadband) will increase by £4;
• The monthly plan price for EE TV increase by £2;
• The monthly plan price for BT Mobile will increase by £1.50;
• All out of bundle charges (including UK call rates and international call rates) will increase by 5%

There is an obvious error in the dates displayed in this section - rather concerning that these documents are not subject to adequate review before publication
