Hi I already have an old BT hub (2 I think) being used in my garden room as a wifi extender wired to my BT hub via cat 5 cable and this works as a wifi extender and also allows me to get the sky mini hub working as well. My question is I am about to change to EE4g mini hub (as my speed with BT is so slow and Openreach have no plans to upgrade our old copper cable) so will I still be able to use the old BT hub as a extender plugged into the new 4g hub?

Any thoughts much appreciated,

Nick.

Yes, it doesn't matter what the source is as long as there is an Ethernet connection.

You might have to change its IP address to fit the mini Hub's address range.
