Replace a BT Smart Hub 2 with ASUS RT-AX88U Wireless-AX6000

Hi all, I have FTTP and Digital Voice, with BT Fibre 900.

I have purchased an ASUS RT-AX88U Wireless-AX6000 and would appreciate some step by step guidance to how to set it up to reblace thr BT smart hub 2.

Please keep the advice simple and easy to follow (the advice I received elsewhere was "turn the BT hub into Modem only mode" - and I've not been able to find that setting).

You don't turn the BT SH into anything. You don't even use it. You plug ASUS straight into the FTTP ONT.

Not if you want digital voice you don't.

@AndyG0 there is no modem only mode on the SH2 and even if there were it wouldn't help as a modem won't have access to the IP layer for DV.

There are multiple posts on the forum to use the Asus if you do a search.
