If you have electricity in the garage and if it is on the same consumer unit (fuse box) as your house you could use powerline adaptors with a wireless powerline adaptor in the garage if you need to connect wirelessly.

If that is not an option you should consider running Ethernet cable from the house to the garage and then use a wireless access point in the garage.

We have Full Fibre 300 with Halo 3 which works fine throughout the house. Our garage is at the end of the garden and is about 50m from the house, and the wifi drops off to more or less zero there. I would like to install a CCTV camera there which would connect to the internet - how can I achieve this. Thanks.

I would use a Poe camera and run a utp cable in conduit between the two buildings. You’ll need a utp router but these are reasonably priced especially if you go for a 10/100 model which will be fine for the camera.
