Black wifi disc.

Hi,

My son inlaw has recently moved and he had a couple of black bt wifi disc's in his home. He gave me one of the disc's and said that it would help boost my wifi into garden?

I've tried to connect to my existing hub but unsuccessful. I've pushed the factory reset and still it will not connect? The light goes purple and eventually turns to a solid red.

Do I have to pay any extra to my broadband to use these or should they just connect with ethernet cable and be able to be moved around house once connected.

Any help much appreciated.

Those discs will only work with the BT Smarthub 2

BT will want those discs back, as they are only loaned. A charge is raised if they are not returned.

Well that answers that then. Thanks for that, I've only got the bt smart hub.
Are there any of these kind of disc's that I can get to help boost wifi around my house?

There's lots. The obvious one is the white BT disc (Wholehome) but there are cheaper ones
