    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi, anyone have any ideas why when i have my TV switched on it completely destroys my wifi signal. have got home hub 5.&amp;nbsp; The TV&amp;nbsp; (Sony approx 6 years old) is located on chimney breast, hub is located in the alcove to the side of it on a wooden tv cabinet approx 5 ft apart , 2 ft below.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;with my TV off i can do a FAST.com test on my phone and i'm getting 300 to 400 mbps sat in front of the router say 6ft in front. turn my telly on and do another test and i get 20-30 mbps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;have googled it but only finding don't put the hub behind the telly etc&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Options..... Get a new TV, move the TV, move the Smarthub. Ensure they are not plugged into the same electrical socket.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Random thoughts...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you connecting your Smart Phone via the Hub or via another mobile network when you run this test? In other words does the Hub even come into the equation on this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If connection is via the Hub then try altering its WiFi channel manually to fix it rather than using the default smart channel hopping setting.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have any HDMI leads running close to the Hub. Perhaps try with all external leads removed. Also the aerial lead to the TV can actually radiate interference as well.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Turn Wi-Fi off on the Sony, connect it via ethernet if you want it connected&lt;/P&gt;</description>
