&lt;P&gt;This is most likely to happen if you are trying to do that over a wireless connection, as wireless is easily overloaded especially if there is interference on the wireless channel. That can cause the connection to drop.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you are using wireless, then try a direct Ethernet connection between the Xbox and the BT Home hub, as that should be more reliable.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also make sure that Smart Setup is turned off.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Disconnecting when trying to DL big files</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone had issues with the smart hub simply resetting and entire network going down when trying to download large files?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tried to download an Xbox update for the boy around 40gb and smart hub just disconnects and resets. Stays on for around 3 minutes and does the same again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When running normally such as Netflix and normal devices it runs perfect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BT have checked and advised no issues at there end but will run checks over next 48 hours.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
