Home hub set up

My old laptop runs WindowsXP.

Can I connect wirelessly to my new hub or do I need to use Ethernet connection?

The home hub hasn't got a clue about what operating system you are using. As long as your wifi card/dongle is 802.11 b/g/or n it will work. You might need to select wireless mode3 in advanced wireless settings though.

Just try it.

My Wi-Fi card conforms with 802.11b/g/n

Wireless mode doesn’t give me the option to select WM3

Any further hints?

If you go to hub manager then advanced settings then wireless you should be able to change wireless mode if necessary
