BT wifi hot spot

Clarification please, I have set up the pause facility to the children's phones, tablets, playstation etc at night time - but they can still access the internet - can they access via the BT wifi hotspot ???

Do i need to turn this hotspot facility off ??

Yes if they know your login details. You need to opt out of BT WiFi or change your BTID password.

If they don't know your password, I guess they have been given another parent's login details by a schoolfriend.

It can take up to 28 days for the opt out to take effect.

I'm going to change the BTID password - assuming this will be easier than opting out of the BT WIFI ?
