Replacing BT Smart hub 2 with Asus DSL-ax82u

I'm replacing the BT smart hub 2 with Asus DSL-AX82U and would like to know the installation and setup procedure. Have BT Fibre 2, FTTC. Also can I rename the Asus Mode/router to same as the BT hub to avoid changing all the wireless items?

If on VDSLx

Connection Type: PPPoE

Username: bthomehub@btinternet.com

Password: BT or blank

VLAN ID/Tag: 101

You should be able to change SSID and WiFi password to that of the hub to avoid changing all your WiFi devices

FYI my question in this forum is part of my search in replacing my BT smart hub 2 and an attempt to educate myself before plugging it in and see what happens. If you don't like me asking this question on this public forum and feel the need to reply in the manner you have may I suggest you refrain from contributing as you wish to be completely negative instead of being positive and helping me in my search.
