Can you draw a diagram of the network topology please?

Assuming you are using switches when you say 8 ports hubs?

As for 'no different to broadband before really' what package did you go for?

Maybe worth powering down both the router and the hubs, then power back the hub and then after about 5 minutes power the hubs back up.

Just to make sure all have re-acquired an IP address correctly.

I’ll try that I have some ring devices and smart sockets and there can be dodgy when you switch router off some re connect some don’t

It took me ages getting some of smart switches connected

It won’t let me email a photo

it’s basically a lead from router to a hub/splitter then off that to my devices

I have two lots of these

one cable is direct to a ps4 and it doesn’t find it

i was on top grade fibre for a month but I think it’s on lowest package now but I still thought it would be better than fibre to cabinet broadband

Did you get a new SH2 or still same hub as before? Assuming you mean switches not hubs have you tried turning off the 5ghz network in hub manager and see if that helps your devices connect to the 2.4ghz network. Assuming they now connect then turn the 5ghz network back on

I would also try factory reset by pressing recessed button on back and holding for 20/30 secs until hub lights flash and see if that helps your wired connections. Remember to turn on FTTP in hub manager after deset

I would check it’s not an ip conflict. Possibly the second router is running a different subnet to the first and one of your hardwired devices has a static ip address set.

You said the PS is directly wired (presumably to the SH2), have you tried it in all the ethernet sockets on the SH2 and tried multiple ethernet cables? Can you try anything else directly wired as a test, eg laptop?

This may seem daft, but can you check that the SH2 is issuing ip adresses - if DHCP has been turned off then it will not - the resets should have turned it on anyway if it was off but worth cecking

If everything fails to connect then it would suggest the Ethernet ports on the SH2 are suspect - try reporting it to BT and they might be able to resolve it or replace your SH2.
