I have a TL-WA850RE range extender which I have connected to my BT smart hub via an Ethernet cable.I have managed to set this up and have about 5 or 6 separate devices connected to it which all work fine. The only thing that doesn’t is my iPhone which is IOS 16.1.2 when I connect the phone to my TP link I get a “Weak Security” signal on the WiFi.I have checked the settings in my BT Smart Hub and they are set to WPA2 which is the recommended setting. The only other choice I have is WPA-Auto or None. Any ideas on how I prevent this “Weak Security” signal. Thanks for your assistance.

The TP link device has an in-built web server for setup purposes, I suspect that you will find that encryption is set to WEP, it needs to be WPA2.

The setup manual gives two methods of connecting to the web server.

I suspect it is probably just the usual Apple paranoia and can be ignored
