Just Dance 2023 Edition on Nintendo Switch internet connection problem

Hi. Has anyone else bought the game Just Dance 2023 Edition recently (e.g. for a Christmas gift) and been unable to play due to an error "We couldn't connect to the Ubisoft servers..."?

Ubisoft has a technical support page Forwarding ports for Just Dance 2023 Edition | Ubisoft Help which suggests that the issue may relate to NAT type:

Should your NAT status show as anything other than Open or Single NAT, you may need to forward ports to your device.

The ports needed for Just Dance 2023 Edition are:

Nintendo Switch

TCP: 80, 443
UDP: 3074

I have followed these instructions but still no joy. I have opened a support ticket with Ubisoft but Internet chatter suggests that this is unlikely to resolve.

Anyone else have a disappointed kid in the house unable to play their Christmas present game?

Edit: Should have said: we have BT Smart Hub 2 and Full Fibre 500.
