&lt;P&gt;Yes you can use that socket to connect Ethernet devices, but bear in mind that you are still relying on a wireless link from the disk to the home hub, so if the CCTV needs to be 100% secure, then a wired connection is the only reliable way.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>RJ45 socket</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can I introduce a CCTV system into the mesh system using the RJ45 socket on the rear of one of the network discs?
