UPnP problem and port forwarding

Hi, I play on my xbox series x and someone on YouTube suggested to use port forwarding as a way to make your speeds faster and have no interference from any other devices. So, I added all the ports that was needed for my xbox and went back on the console. It then said UPnP is not successful. Not sure if it is a question for this community or XBOX but if someone could explain, that would be greatly appreciated 🙂

@Tommy69 have you tried turning off UPnP? Go to Advanced settings > firewall > configuration.

Hi @Tommy69 If you've followed the port forwarding instructions for the Smart Hub and used the recommended ports from Xbox you may need to ask their support community. Some games also require additional ports to be opened so you may need to check that too.

Yes I have followed every instruction and have used the correct ports. No worries 🙂

I asked one of the XBOX professionals and she said to call my ISP and thats pretty much it 😕
