Typically port 4 is set up for Full Fibre although that can be switched off in settings.

Are you assigning the NAS a permanent IP address within the NAS or using DHCP in the SH2?

Hi

I'm trying to connect my LG N1A1DD1 NAS to my hub.

It is a IPv4 device and is connected to the hub by cable

it is listed in the device list but the font is light grey and not bold as are items that are working OK

Using the IP address in the device list when I "ping" I get "host not reachable"

Suggestions please

Thanks for msg

Was using port 4, have moved to port 1 - ping result is the same

On hub manager network the diagram shows nothing connected to ports 1,2,3 or 4

Under the list of devices for the NAS it shows port 1 and the IP address - this doesn't change when move cable to another port. This is the address I have tried to ping

I haven't assigned any addresses
