I have checked with both the Dell and Qualcomm websites and although I have now updated the driver, I am still getting a download speed of about 35-40Mbps

My phone is getting the full speed when connected to the home router but my laptop is only getting a download speed on approx. 40-50Mbps instead of the expected 150Mbps.

Can anyone suggest if I need to make any changes to my laptop settings.

Thanks.

Make sure that you have the most up to date drivers for your network card. Use the card manufacturer's web site or the laptop manufacturer's website rather than using Windows update.
